A Slack channel of forwarded links isn’t intelligence. Somebody has to read all of it and decide what’s worth your attention. Don’t worry, I gotchu.

deliverable 01
One short brief, five sections. Built to be read in 8 minutes on a Wednesday, not filed away to gather dust with everything else.

Competitors & industry
What's the action happening among the competitive set and the category this week.
Knockaround keeps shipping reasons to buy a second pair, not just replace the first.
This week the brand added two new limited-edition colorways, Lost at Sea Fort Knocks and Velvet Royale Premiums, both live on Knockaround's homepage, and turned on a sitewide Buy One Get One 50% off promotion, framed around picking up a "backup" or "beach pair" so losing one in an Uber isn't a big deal.
deliverable 02
Every brief tidily filed away and searchable in your own private library. AND the relay remembers, so a competitor’s various moves add up to a strategy rather than a slew of unconnected headlines.
deliverable 03
Half an hour on the calendar every month, so the brief keeps pointing at what really matters to you. Standing intelligence goes stale when nobody adjusts it, typically because no one bothered to book the convo. Voila, this is that conversation.
how it works
me, specing it out just for you
It’s your unique cartridge, built to plug into my tested agentic system. That’s what makes the brief yours: your brand, your audience, your goals, your market. Miles beyond a quick pre-board meeting GPT prompt.
the machine, running all week, commissioned by me
It reads at a volume I could never match and checks itself harder than I’d have time to at this price point. But it still leaves the decisions about what’s interesting to me (because I won’t let the machines do ALL the cool stuff).
me, distilling what came through the firehose
It all comes to me unranked. No top stories, no relevance score, no machine’s opinion about what’s worth your time. I read the whole pile myself, then tell you which handful of the week’s gazillion things matter and why.
what I’m asking of every single item
One read a week, five sections. What your competitors and your category did. What's going on in your customers' lives beyond your brand. Two ideas worth stealing from outside your category, one product and one marketing. A few thought starters built from your week. And one idea from the science of people, with a line connecting it to your business. Every item carries my reason for it, and every source is linked.
About 8 minutes. A quiet week runs shorter, honestly, and I don't pad it to fill the space.
Weekly. You pick the day at kickoff and it holds. Setup is a kickoff call plus a first calibration week, then it just lands.
Email, on your day, to whatever distribution list you want. You control that list, there's no seat limit, and there's no per-reader pricing. The archive lives in a folder I host and share with you, or inside your own system if you'd rather keep it behind your walls. If your team would rather receive it some other way, ask me and we'll scope it.
$3,750 a month, plus $5,000 once to stand it up. Billed monthly in advance, no annual contract, and fees are exclusive of any applicable sales tax. It should earn its place every month.
I do, every week. An agentic system does the reading and the fact-checking, and I'll say that plainly, because it's the reason a standing read on your whole market costs one invoice instead of what a research agency charges. What it never does is decide. Everything that survives the checks comes to me unranked, I keep what matters to your business, and I write the reason each item made it in.
Not at the same time. I won't run this for two direct competitors concurrently. Adjacent brands in a broad category are fair game, and I'll tell you if that's the situation.
A tool gives you a feed and some alerts. It can't tell you which thing in the pile is the one that matters, or what it means for the decision you're actually making. It's also not real time by design. A live feed you never open loses to one short read you finish.
Those are cheap and getting cheaper, and they're fine at telling you what happened. The gap is that they'll hand you everything flattened to the same weight, written with the same confidence whether the source is a trade journal or one forum post. Every item here got read by somebody who knows your business and decided it earned your time, and where the evidence is thin the brief says so.
Yes, and it's sharper when it does. At kickoff you hand over whatever helps: your positioning, your competitor list, past research, internal docs, the data you already track. It works from that plus the open market, so the read is grounded in how your business actually sees itself, not just what's public.
Some weeks your market is quiet, and knowing that clearly is worth having. Those briefs ship short and say so. The ideas worth stealing and the closing concept come from the whole world rather than your category, so they land every week regardless. No brief is ever empty, and no brief is ever padded.
It remembers, permanently. Every brief that ships and every candidate that didn't stays in the relay's memory, so when this week's news rhymes with something from a year ago, the earlier instances arrive attached with dates. Separately, once a month I step back across the last month of briefs to see what recurred, what moved and what stopped, and I'll reach further back when something interesting is there. Naming the shift is my job, not the machine's.
No. The pipeline is mine to run. Your side is 45 minutes at kickoff, about 8 minutes a week to read the brief, and 30 minutes a month on the check-in call. That is the whole ask.
It's yours to keep. Every brief I've sent you stays in your folder, and if it's hosted on my side I hand it over. You paid for it.
