what you get

the one-pager

nuanced motivations, verbatim evidence, and the implications, all on a single page.

direct access to me

a direct line to me from kickoff through walkthrough, not a hand-off to a junior researcher you never meet.

the raw material

every recording and transcript, so you can hear it in your customers' own words, not just my interpretation.

$9,500

one flat price.
no tiers, no surprises.

unless your buyers are B2B, who run a little pricier to get on a call: $16,000.

Ask in any of your company’s Slack channels why customers pick your brand, and you’ll get at least a dozen different hunches.

everyone’s got a theory, but when’s the last time anyone asked your customers?

A checkbox in a post-purchase survey won’t get you there. What will is real conversations with people who chose you, and a nuanced picture of what drove that decision.

FAQs

what do I actually get?

One page with the finding: the nuanced motivations behind the choice, the verbatim evidence under them, and the implications for your decision. Plus every interview recording and transcript, and a live walkthrough with your team.

how long does it take?

Two weeks, plus a short intake form up front. The schedule above breaks it down day by day.

how much does it cost?

$9,500 flat for consumer buyers. B2B buyers cost more to recruit, so those run $16,000. No surprises either way.

is this a survey?

No. You get the why and the story, not a number you can project to your whole base. If you need that, then let's scope that work together separately.

does this cover the customers who didn't choose us?

No. This is the people who just chose you. The ones who didn't, or who left, is a different study; if that's the one you need, let's scope it together.

do we have to staff it?

No. I find your customers, write the questions, and run the conversations. Your whole job is two short calls.

who runs the interviews?

I write every question and go through every transcript myself, and sit in live when a conversation needs it. The interviews run on an AI moderator from my script. That's how fifteen deep ones take days, not weeks. You're hiring the questions and the judgment. That part is me.

couldn't we just do this ourselves?

You could point a tool at your list. The tool isn't the hard part. The hard part is asking without leading, knowing which answer is real and which is a customer being polite, and finding the one pattern that moves your decision. If it were a weekend's work, you'd have the answer already.

are these really our customers, or panelists?

Your call. Hand me your customer list and I'll use it. Or I'll recruit real buyers of your brand from a research panel, screened to people who bought you in the last three months, with checks to catch anyone gaming the screener. Either way, recruiting isn't your job.

fifteen interviews? is that enough?

For a clear direction, yes. The patterns that matter repeat well before fifteen. It's not a representative sample and I won't pretend it is. Enough to know what's driving choice, not to put a percentage in a board deck.
